Bizum

Transactions via Bizum

#MurciaTIP is accredited as an organisation on the official list of NGOs you can support through the Bizum app. For NGOs, Bizum works slightly differently with organisations than people are used to.

Unlike a phone number, you need to find a section within the app where you enter the following code (04458) to make a transaction, and many banks do not distinguish between donation and payment. Regardless of the label, the transaction will be recorded immediately in the bank with your name and you can always prove you have made a payment. (04458)

Some banks have not yet implemented this functionality, so to make transactions you will need to use other methods such as traditional bank transfer or PayPal. The following list covers the most common issues we have found:

• ING: ING: This option is not yet enabled.
• Sabadell: Sabadell: It was not intuitive to complete the transaction but after recent updates, as soon as you open the app you need to tap the top-left menu, then click Bizum, then «Send Money», then top-left again you will see the option «Enter phone or code» where you can enter the NGO code.
